Contact
This page lists the channels through which readers can reach DarkMatter Watch. The most common reasons to write are corrections, clarification requests, and press enquiries. For anything more sensitive, an encrypted option is provided below.
We do not provide access support, vendor introductions, or any form of assistance related to using the marketplace itself. Please do not write about those.

Encrypted communication
For correspondence that should not be transmitted as plaintext — source tips, sensitive document-level corrections, or anything else where the reader has a privacy stake — we accept PGP-encrypted email. Using PGP ensures that the message body can be read only by the DarkMatter Watch editors.
How to send an encrypted message
- Install a PGP client. Common options include GnuPG on the command line or the Mailvelope / Thunderbird integrations for email.
- Import our public key. Use the key ID and fingerprint listed in the sidebar to retrieve and verify our key from a keyserver or a copy we provide on request.
- Compose the message in plain text. Include the page URL and the specific passage the correction or question refers to.
- Encrypt and send. Encrypt the body to our public key before sending; the email subject line remains unencrypted by design, so keep it generic.
For background on our approach to reader privacy more generally, see the privacy policy.
Submitting a correction
If you notice that a fact on this site is wrong, outdated, or insufficiently sourced, we would like to know. To keep corrections actionable, the following structure is the most useful:
- Locate. Identify the page and section — a direct link or a short quote is enough for us to find the passage.
- Specify. State what the text currently says and what you believe it should say, with the reasoning for the change.
- Source. Where possible, point us to the source that supports the corrected version — published reporting, primary documents, or direct observation of the platform's public-facing pages.
Corrections are handled as editorial updates. When a substantive change is made, the affected page's "Last updated" timestamp is refreshed. We do not maintain a separate corrections log.
For the editorial principles that guide these updates, see the about page, or review the terms of use that describe the site's formal position on its own content.
What this inbox is not for
Because DarkMatter Watch is a documentation site and not an operator of anything, a recurring category of inbound mail is off-topic by design. We flag it here so no one's time is wasted on either side.
- Requests for onion URLs, mirrors, or access instructions — not published, not forwarded, not privately shared.
- Account support, order status, or dispute mediation — we have no relationship with the platform and cannot help.
- Vendor introductions, listings, or promotional enquiries — none of these are published on this site.
- Affiliate or sponsorship proposals — DarkMatter Watch is non-commercial and does not take paid placements.
Everything else — genuine questions, corrections, research enquiries — is welcome.
